You know that old motto, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”? Sometimes we miss the full significance of that wonderful statement. For a long time, I wondered why my sweetheart didn’t kiss me when I got home. Why didn’t he hug me more and plan exciting dates for us? And then a light bulb went off. Why didn’t I do these things for him that I expected him to do for me? So that day I started. When he came home, I dropped everything to let him know how glad I was to see him. I took the initiative to plan dates that showed him how special he was. I bought little mementos to show him that I was thinking of him. And guess what? Without me saying anything, he started doing those same things for me. So next time you want a little extra affection from you special someone, give him what you want, and see it returned to you.

A website that does not change frequently. Usually, it is a website that just lets people know you are there. It would contain information about your company and how to contact you. This is best for a business that does not change much.

From Webopedia:

Generally refers to elements of the Internet or computer programming that are fixed and not capable of action or change. The opposite of static is dynamic. A Web site that is static can only supply information that is written into the HTML and this information will not change unless the change is written into the source code. When a Web browser requests the specific static Web page, a server returns the page to the browser and the user only gets whatever information is contained in the HTML code. In contrast, a dynamic Web page contains content that a user can interact with, such as information that is tied to a database. The user can request that the information, such as ticket availability or airline flight data, be retrieved from a database.
